Hello I am Pooja!

I'm a plant based pastry chef, educator and an avid traveller. I got trained in classical French patisserie from Lavonne academy of pastry arts and baking science post which I got on a mission to take the gluten, dairy and white sugar out of every dessert I absolutely love! While teaching is what I love the most, i obviously LOVE feeding people while celebrating indigenous seasonal ingredients of India, which has led to find Mountain Muse a conscious pantry essentials brand , Gavti Lab - a plant based gelato brand and KaYa Cafe, a plant forward farm to table cafe located in a remote village of Ladakh which I ran from 2019 up until 2023.
